“I’ve just heard back from the team that Purist mode is now designed to be unlocked from the get go. Unless something critical happens, I feel confident that you can all get your butts handed to you from the first playthrough.”

Hitman: Absolution is out November 20, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

The new demo is said to contain completely different content to that released will purchases of Dragon’s Dogma, so if you had that demo before, you get even more pre-release play time!

The demo will include bits of three main campaigns, and also allows players to test out the online co-op mode.

The demo is out September 18 for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and the full game is out October 2.

The game promises to be the most gritty of Tomb Raider games, as it focuses on Lara Croft becoming the Tomb Raider we all know and love. Thrown onto an enigmatic island, with hostile natives after her, she evolves into a hardened survivor and ends up being faced with a character-defining decision.

Tomb Raider is set for release on March 5, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

In multiplayer, players will be able to choose their allegiance to one of four gods – Zeus, Ares, Poseidon or Hades – and depending who you choose, you will have different types of weapons/attacks. One mode for multiplayer is called “In Favor of The Gods” where the first team to get a certain number of points, wins. Players can also set traps for opponents, collect orbs and capture altars.
